  • Ian Speirs says:

So sorry to hear of Sandy’s passing. I have fond memories and the shepherds crock, which I still take out on the hill with me.

Thoughts and prayers are with you at the very sad time.

  • James Macleod says:

  • Ian Mitchell says:

I visited Walter Elliot today at Achnambeithach and only then heard that Sandy passed away two years ago. I live in northern Sweden now and had not been in the ‘Coe for four years when I dropped by Gleann Leac Na Muidhe to see Sandy.

I will always remember the fun we had in the 80’s on the hill and in the pub, his kindness in giving me a place to sleep when passing through and his love of the hills and the animals.

    Condolences to Billy.

    Best regards, Mitch
